In honor of the 25th anniversary of "Friends," brands across the U.S. took advantage of the celebration to reach the show's loyal fanbase.

How You Doin’?

Some of you remember watching “Friends” premiere on TV in 1994, and some of you weren’t even born. Yet, a show about six quirky adults living in New York City is still quoted and loved by more than three generations today.

During this year’s 25th-anniversary celebration, the memory of the iconic show has surpassed TV and Netflix reruns and has won over its fans with live popups and experiences.

In late September, more than 1,000 theaters across the country aired 12 remastered episodes with exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes content, giving fans across the country a chance to relive the timeless humor.

Even Las Vegas—our favorite city—honored the famous TV sitcom in the only over-the-top way they know how. In October, the famous couch made an appearance in front of the Bellagio while the fountains played a new water show to the theme song “I’ll Be There For You” by The Rembrandts. New York-New York couldn’t pass up the opportunity either. With an escape room experience to a meet and greet with Marcel the monkey, plenty of “Friends” activities were present on the Strip.

If you haven’t started singing “I’ll Be There For You” yet, then here’s your chance. In line with the celebration, many companies, groups of friends, and even the Cleveland Browns turned to social media to recreate the famous opening credits scene. Friends will be leaving Netflix on Jan. 1, 2020, so it’s time to do some last-minute binge-watching and catch all of your favorite episodes. #StillThereForYou
